Whitney’s academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in 2008, where she developed a solid foundation in critical thinking and analytical skills. She later pursued an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information System Applications at Vancouver Island University in 2009, further sharpening her expertise in an interdisciplinary field.

Continuing to broaden her skillset, Whitney obtained a Master of Public Administration from the University of Saskatchewan in 2013. This comprehensive program equipped her with the legal, policy, and management knowledge necessary to tackle complex municipal issues effectively.

Driven by her unwavering commitment to advocating for municipalities, Whitney pursued her law degree at the University of Victoria, where she gained a thorough understanding of legal principles and honed her litigation skills. After completing her studies, she was called to the bar in both British Columbia and Saskatchewan, allowing her to provide legal expertise in multiple jurisdictions.

Beyond her professional achievements, Whitney embraces the world of literature to continually expand her knowledge and enhance her communication skills. She also enjoys engaging in puzzles, which showcases her ability to think creatively and approach challenges with a methodical mindset.
