Having previously summered with Brownlee LLP in 2022, Phoenix Howe returned to Brownlee’s Calgary office in 2023 as an Articling Student. Phoenix studied life sciences at Queen’s University before attending law school at the University of Saskatchewan where he served as President of the Law Students’ Association.

Phoenix chose to article at Brownlee because of the welcoming environment and culture of excellence at the firm. “I’m incredibly fortunate to have the chance to work with so many exceptionally talented lawyers” Phoenix said.

Outside of practicing law, Phoenix enjoys snowboarding, playing a variety of sports, and learning about history. He is an avid soccer fan who supports Real Madrid. His favorite historical figure is Gilbert du Motier.
